AIIMS NORCET Exam Complete Guide

This guide is designed for GNM, B.Sc Nursing, and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing students who want to become a Nursing Officer in AIIMS and other central government hospitals.


1. Introduction

The AIIMS NORCET (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test) is a national-level recruitment examination conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences to recruit Nursing Officers.


Through this exam, candidates can get jobs in:

  • AIIMS hospitals across India

  • Central government hospitals

  • Autonomous institutes under the Ministry of Health


It is one of the most popular government nursing exams in India.


2. Full Form of NORCET

NORCET = Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test


The exam is conducted periodically to recruit Nursing Officers (Staff Nurses) in multiple AIIMS institutions.


3. Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment process includes:
